PERLITE CANADA ANNOUNCES THE CONCLUSION OF
LONG TERM LEASE FOR ITS PLANT IN LACHINE AND
CHANGE OF HEAD OFFICE
Montreal, June 29th, 2010

MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- Perlite Canada inc. (the "company") is pleased to announce the conclusion of a lease with Investissements 1875-52 ième Avenue Limitée, landlord of the premises where the Lachine Plant is located.

Under the lease agreement, the company leases the premises located at 1775, 52nd Avenue, Lachine, Quebec, for a period of 10 years from February 1, 2010 to January 31, 2020. The company may terminate the lease after a period of 5 years starting on February 1, 2015 under certain conditions including the payment of a termination fee. The company is pleased to secure his Lachine operations for the future with this long term agreement.

Furthermore, in order to simplify the company's operations, the management decided to move the head office of the Company to the Lachine Plant. Therefore, on June 30, 2010, the head office of the Company will be located at 1775, 52nd Avenue, Lachine, Quebec, Canada, H8T 2Y1; tel: (514) 631-4251, fax: (514) 631-4254.
