QUEBEC -- Perlite Canada inc. (the
"company") announces hereby
the results of its second quarter 2010
ended on April 30, 2010.
For the second quarter that ended April
30, 2010 (the "2nd Quarter
2010") the Company generated
revenues of $2,316,293 compared to
$2,343,452 during the second quarter
that ended April 30, 2009. For the six
months period ended on April 30, 2010,
Company's business income was $3,924,464
compared to $3,684,912 for the same six
months period in 2009 which represent an
increase of approximately 6,5 %.
The Company recorded an income before
taxes of $70,097 for the 2nd Quarter
2010 compared to a loss before taxes of
$122,295 for the second quarter of 2009.
For the six months period ended on April
30, 2010, the Company recorded a loss
before taxes of $32,923 compared to a
loss before taxes of $449,825 for the
same period in 2009.
The Company generated a net income of
$54,702 for the 2nd Quarter 2010
compared to a net loss $125,264 for the
first quarter that ended on April 30,
2009. For the six months period ended on
April 30, 2010, the Company generated a
net loss of $11,632 compared to a net
loss of $351,587 for the same period in
2009.
Perlite Canada Inc. specializes in the
processing, distribution and sale of
perlite and vermiculite, two minerals
used in industry and horticulture.
