Baie-du-Febvre, Quebec
In Quebec, the Baie-du-Febvre plant, located close to Canadian and American markets, allows Perlite Canada to use rail or road transport to serve all its horticultural and industrial clientele efficiently, without delay, and at lower cost. With its two ovens, the third being located in St-Pacome, the Baie-du-Febvre plant produces on average more than 2,000,000 cubic feet of perlite and more than 500,000 cubic feet of vermiculite per year. |

The St-Pacome plant was inaugurated in 2008 by Perlite Canada in order to provide better service to peat moss producers in Eastern Canada, as well as its local industrial clients. Since the implementation of the new production unit, Perlite Canada has kept a close watch on the perlite market in order to meet the needs of regional producers and face the growing demand of perlite- and vermiculite-based products. |

Lachine, Quebec Perlite Canada's newest plant is located in Lachine and came with the acquisition of VIL Vermiculite. Well established in Montreal since 40 years, It desserves principally the Ontario and Quebec markets.
